The ancient town of Odo Ayandelu in Epe area of Lagos State was filled with colour, tradition, and spiritual reverence as it hosted its annual Eebi/Agemo Festival. The celebration showcased rich Yoruba heritage and attracted guests from within and outside the community.
Epe Insights reports that the festival was held under the leadership of the monarch of Odo Ayandelu, Oba Aderibigbe Asunmo, who led the community in the yearly cultural and spiritual observance. The event drew indigenes, traditional rulers, and cultural enthusiasts to the historic town.
The Eebi/Agemo Festival is deeply rooted in Yoruba tradition and is regarded as a sacred rite. It is primarily dedicated to spiritual cleansing, purification of the land, and the invocation of divine blessings for peace and prosperity.

The festival also attracted notable dignitaries, including prominent politician Gani Adams, alongside several traditional rulers from Lagos State and other parts of Nigeria. Their presence added prestige to the cultural celebration.
