APC Leaders Endorse Rep. Bayo Balogun for Second Term in Ibeju-Lekki

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibeju-Lekki have endorsed Hon. Bayo Balogun, Member representing Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency, for a second term in the House of Representatives.

Epe Insights reports that the endorsement was reached during a strategic political meeting attended by key party stakeholders, leaders, and government officials across the constituency.

The decision, according to party leaders, is aimed at promoting unity, continuity, and effective representation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Prominent APC figures present at the meeting included Dr. Tola Kasali, Alhaji Bode Oyedele, and Alhaji Tunde Isiak, alongside the APC Chairman in Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Aliasau Eletu.

Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola and Hon. Oladele Ajayi, also attended the gathering.

Top government officials were present, including Hon. Abdul Kabir Ogungbo, Special Adviser on Taxation and Revenue to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

The meeting also featured strong representation from local government leadership across the division.

Present were the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, and the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali.

Former office holders, party elders, youth leaders, and women groups also participated in the endorsement process.

Party stakeholders described the endorsement as a reflection of confidence in Balogun’s legislative performance and leadership style.

They noted that continuity in representation would help sustain developmental projects across the constituency.

According to them, experienced legislative leadership is key to attracting more federal presence and infrastructure development.

The leaders further referenced historical political continuity in Lagos, drawing comparisons with previous endorsement traditions within the party.
