The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has received a fresh boost to its operations as the State Government, through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), handed over a new fleet of patrol vehicles to enhance community policing across the state.
EpeInsights gathered that while receiving the vehicles on behalf of the agency, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his unwavering commitment to a safer Lagos.
“We are fully aligned with the Safer Lagos Initiative,” Oyekan said. “With Mr. Governor’s consistent support and investment in security infrastructure, we are duty-bound to deliver results.”

He also commended the Executive Secretary and team at the LSSTF for their dedication and collaborative spirit in strengthening neighborhood safety across the state.
However, Oyekan reminded LNSA officers that these resources are not merely assets, but a trust from the people of Lagos.
“These patrol vehicles are the property of the good people of Lagos, held in trust by the agency,” he emphasized. “They must be used responsibly, maintained properly, and serve the purpose of community protection with integrity and accountability.”

With this latest support, the LNSA is better equipped to respond swiftly to security concerns, promote neighborhood vigilance, and reinforce the government’s broader vision of a secure and thriving Lagos.
