In a remarkable display of cultural unity and tradition, monarchs from across the Epe Division gathered in Odo-Noforija to offer blessings for Oba Adebowale Omola of Odomola on the occasion of the Eebi Festival.
EpeInsights report that in the heart of the symbolic gathering was the dedication of the royal father’s new Toyota Hilux, infused with traditional prayers for protection, prosperity, and purpose.
The ceremony was led by the Alayandelu of Odo-Noforija, His Royal Majesty Oba Aderibigbe Asunmo, who performed sacred rites using water and local gin—elements regarded as carriers of spiritual significance in Yoruba tradition.

“This blessing is more than ceremonial,” Oba Asunmo remarked. “It is our way of invoking divine guardianship, goodwill, and success as Oba Omola continues to serve his people.”
Held amid the vibrant and spiritual atmosphere of the ongoing Eebi Festival, the moment drew attention to the enduring relevance of cultural practices in modern times. The festival itself is a time of ancestral remembrance, communal bonding, and prayer—making the timing of the blessing particularly meaningful.
After the ritual, the monarchs stood in solidarity, reaffirming their support for Oba Omola and praying for peace and progress across their respective kingdoms.

The scene was a powerful reminder that even in an age of modernization, tradition still holds a sacred place—especially when it reinforces leadership, community, and cultural pride.
