Olowu Congratulates Oyedele, Olowa on APC Campaign Council Roles

Hon. (Engr.) Abiola Okanlawon Olowu, OKL, FNSE, has congratulated Chief Bode Oyedele and Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa following their inauguration into the Lagos State APC Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 elections.

Epe Insights reports that the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress inaugurated its campaign council on Friday under the PBAT-KOH 2027 Campaign Secretariat. Chief Bode Oyedele was listed as Vice Director-General (East), while Olowa was assigned to the Welfare Services Directorate.

Olowu, who is the APC candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, described the appointments as strategic and well-deserved.

In a congratulatory message issued after the inauguration, Olowu extended his goodwill to Chief Oyedele, Hon. Olowa and their respective supporters.

He said the appointments reflected the experience and responsibilities the two leaders would bring to the campaign structure.

Olowu described Chief Oyedele as a technocrat and administrator whose experience, according to him, would be useful in the campaign council’s activities in Lagos East.

He also described Olowa as a grassroots leader with an understanding of community and welfare issues.

According to Olowu, the inclusion of both leaders in the campaign council demonstrates the party’s effort to draw on experienced figures as preparations continue for the 2027 general elections.

The APC campaign council is expected to coordinate campaign-related activities across Lagos State ahead of the election.

Current reports list Babajide Sanwo-Olu as chairman of the campaign council, with Deputy Governor and governorship candidate Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as deputy chairman. Musiliu Obanikoro is listed as Director-General.

Chief Oyedele’s role as Vice Director-General for the East is part of the council’s regional structure, while Olowa is included in the Welfare Services Directorate.

Olowu said he was confident that the experience of members of the campaign council would contribute to the coordination of the party’s activities.

He also expressed his support for the council and said members of his political movement would participate in the campaign activities.

The Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I APC candidate further said he would support mobilisation efforts within his constituency as the campaign progresses.

His comments come as political parties and their candidates begin preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The Lagos APC campaign council inauguration formally establishes a structure for coordinating the party’s campaign activities across the state.

The council includes party leaders, political office holders and other stakeholders assigned to different directorates and responsibilities.

For Ibeju-Lekki, the involvement of Olowa in the campaign structure places a serving local government chairman within the wider Lagos APC campaign framework.

Olowu also congratulated the leadership of the campaign council and wished its members wisdom and unity in carrying out their assigned responsibilities.

He called for cooperation among stakeholders as campaign activities continue across Lagos State.

The APC candidate further prayed for success for the council as it begins its work ahead of the 2027 electoral season.

The inauguration marks the beginning of the campaign council’s activities, with members expected to carry out their respective responsibilities as the election approaches.

Olowu’s congratulatory message therefore highlights the participation of two Ibeju-Lekki-linked political figures in the newly inaugurated Lagos APC campaign structure.

As preparations continue, the campaign council will coordinate activities across different parts of Lagos State in line with the party’s electoral programme.
