Barr. Mrs. Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye has been inaugurated as Secretary of the Women Directorate of the PBAT/KOH 2027 Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
Epe Insights reports that Oladunjoye disclosed her new role following the inauguration of the Lagos APC Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The council was formally inaugurated at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, on September 18, 2026.
In a message shared after the inauguration, Oladunjoye said she joined other party leaders and stakeholders at the event.
She described her appointment as an honour and acknowledged the responsibility attached to the role within the campaign structure.
According to her, the responsibility requires hard work, meaningful engagement and direct connection with the people.
Oladunjoye said the campaign should not take the trust of Lagos residents for granted.
She identified listening, engagement and clear communication as important elements of the campaign activities.
She also said members of the campaign structure would work collectively towards the vision of the party.
The Lagos APC campaign council was established as part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 General Elections.

The structure includes several directorates and committees covering different areas of campaign administration and mobilisation.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is listed as Chairman of the campaign council, while Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is listed as Deputy Chairman.
Former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro is listed as Director-General, with Rasaq Ajala as Deputy Director-General and Dr. Adekunle Olayinka as Campaign Secretary.
The campaign structure also includes directorates dealing with legal and compliance matters, party and inter-party affairs, administration and logistics, traditional institutions, diaspora engagement and residents’ associations.
The establishment of the various directorates is intended to provide a framework for coordinating the party’s campaign activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
Oladunjoye’s role in the Women Directorate places her within the section of the campaign structure focused on women-related mobilisation and engagement.
Her message centred on the need for campaign activities to involve meaningful interaction with the people.
She said members of the campaign team have a responsibility to listen to residents and communicate their message clearly.
Oladunjoye also emphasised collective efforts within the campaign structure.
Her comments reflected the approach she said should guide the campaign as the political parties prepare for the next general elections.
The campaign council includes representatives working across different areas of Lagos State.
Its structure provides for grassroots mobilisation and coordination across the state’s local government areas and local council development areas.
The campaign council’s inauguration formally commenced the activities of its members following the release of the structure earlier in September.
For Oladunjoye, the inauguration also marked the beginning of her responsibilities as Secretary of the Women Directorate.
She said the role comes with an understanding of the need for sustained engagement with the people.

The Federal Commissioner representing Lagos State on the National Population Commission has previously held public and political responsibilities in Lagos.
She was sworn in as the Federal Commissioner representing Lagos State on the National Population Commission in February 2024.
Her latest campaign appointment comes alongside her continuing role at the National Population Commission.
The campaign activities are taking place within the wider preparations by political parties for the 2027 General Elections.
Oladunjoye’s message did not outline specific campaign programmes for the Women Directorate but focused on the principles of engagement, communication and collective work.
She said the campaign would require members to connect with residents and understand their concerns.
She also stressed that the trust of Lagosians should be treated with responsibility.
The message further highlighted the importance of communicating the party’s position to the public.
The APC campaign council will coordinate activities through its various directorates and committees as preparations for the 2027 elections continue.
Oladunjoye is expected to work within the Women Directorate as part of the campaign structure inaugurated by the Lagos State chapter of the party.

Her appointment adds another responsibility to her public activities in Lagos State.
The inauguration brought together party leaders, stakeholders and members of the newly constituted campaign structure.
It also formally activated the council’s responsibilities ahead of the forthcoming electoral cycle.
As Secretary of the Women Directorate, Oladunjoye has said her approach will focus on engagement, communication and collective work.
She also called attention to the importance of listening to the people during campaign activities.
The development marks the beginning of her stated role in the Lagos APC campaign structure as preparations for the 2027 General Elections continue.
