The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has intensified efforts to improve road infrastructure by leading officials of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) on an inspection of critical roads across the local government area.
Epe Insights reports that the inspection tour formed part of Hon. Olowa’s ongoing commitment to attracting Lagos State Government intervention for the rehabilitation and improvement of strategic roads serving residents and businesses in Ibeju-Lekki.
Leading the delegation, the chairman personally accompanied representatives of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation to assess the condition of major roads requiring urgent attention.
The inspection covered key road networks in Idado, Akodo, Taro Kayetoro, Adeba, and Abijo GRA, all of which play important roles in connecting communities and supporting economic activities within the council area.
Hon. Olowa explained that the exercise was aimed at providing first-hand information on the current state of the roads while identifying priority areas for rehabilitation and maintenance.
He noted that improving road infrastructure remains one of the major priorities of his administration because of its direct impact on transportation, commerce, security, and the overall quality of life of residents.
