The lawmaker representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi (#SKETEL), has inspected ongoing development projects in Ibonwon and Iraye communities.
Epe Insights reports that the inspection tour covered the Ibonwon Community Road project and the construction of the Ibonwon Town Hall. Both projects are designed to improve infrastructure and enhance social and economic activities within the community.
The Ibonwon Community Road project is expected to ease movement for residents and support local businesses. The ongoing Town Hall construction will provide a befitting venue for meetings, social gatherings and community engagements.
From Ibonwon, Hon. Ogunkelu proceeded to Iraye where he donated a transformer to improve electricity supply. The intervention is aimed at boosting power stability and stimulating socio-economic growth in the area.
Residents noted that improved electricity will positively impact small businesses, households and public institutions. The transformer is expected to reduce frequent power challenges in the community.
Representatives of the benefiting communities, speaking on behalf of their traditional rulers and leaders, expressed appreciation for the projects and the donation. They described the interventions as timely and impactful.
Community leaders commended Hon. Oluwadahunsi for what they termed consistent and responsive representation. They offered prayers and goodwill messages in support of his continued service at the state assembly.
