Governor Sanwo-Olu has congratulated the Oloja of Epe on his 25th coronation and 80th birthday.
Epe Insights reports that the Oloja of Epe land, Paramount Ruler and Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Epe Division in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, had twin celebrations of his 25th coronation anniversary and his 80th birthday on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, praised Oba Animashaun for his unwavering dedication to the development of Epe and his selfless service to the community.
Governor Sanwo-Olu who described the Oloja of Epe land as an exemplary leader, said, “Oba Animashaun deserves all the accolades for the impactful and purposeful life that he has lived, especially in the last 25 years of his reign as the Oloja of Epeland. He is the epitome of dedication and selflessness in community service.”
The Lagos Governor commended Oba Animashaun‘s leadership qualities and his significant contributions to the progress of Epe, stating, “Since ascending the throne of his forefathers as Oloja of Epe 25 years ago, Oba Animashaun has displayed exemplary leadership in his domain.
“I commend his passion and commitment to the growth and development of Epe land as paramount ruler and the State as the Vice Chairman, Obas and Chiefs in Lagos State.”
Highlighting the role of the Oloja of Epe in fostering peace and progress in Epe, the Lagos governor also lauded his development policies, adding, “The people of the Epe division are lucky to have a dedicated, principled, and disciplined monarch as their paramount ruler.”
Sanwo-Olu on behalf of his family and the state government, extended his warmest wishes to the royal father, saying, “On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, and family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Oloja of Epe land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, on his 25th coronation anniversary.
“I also felicitate the monarch on the auspicious occasion of his 80th birthday.”
The Lagos governor prayed for continued strength and wisdom for the monarch, concluding with a heartfelt wish, “As Oba Animashaun celebrates his 25 years on the throne and also joins the Octogenarian Club, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and prosperity in Epe land. He will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers.”
