The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) has announced a strengthened commitment to promoting transparency and inclusivity in governance, alongside launching a comprehensive sensitisation initiative on procurement processes.

EpeInsights learnt that this also includes the formation of a dedicated Planning Committee to ensure the smooth execution of procurement activities.

In a recent meeting with the Procurement Process Review Committee, LASODA’s General Manager, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to full compliance with procurement regulations.

She stressed that LASODA would only collaborate with contractors registered with the Lagos State Government, ensuring all procedures strictly align with legal requirements.

“We are committed to responsibly managing government funds, ensuring every step adheres to procurement laws,” said Mrs. Oyetunde-Lawal.

“Our goal is to build an inclusive procurement system that promotes accessibility. By embedding these principles, we aim to provide equitable opportunities for everyone to contribute to the state’s economy.”

The Director-General of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (LSPPA), Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote, applauded LASODA’s proactive approach after a detailed presentation outlining the procurement process and roles of key stakeholders.Lagos State Disability Affairs Office Champions Transparent Procurement Practices
