The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development has launched an exciting initiative aimed at empowering youth leaders in the state through an overseas study tour to Canada.

He emphasized that the study tour would provide an invaluable opportunity for youth leaders to broaden their perspectives and gain practical experience in leadership, fostering a strong sense of civic responsibility.

The study tour, which centres on the theme “Leadership in Innovation and Sustainable Development,” will offer participants hands-on experience across various sectors, thereby helping them to develop skills that are essential for modern-day leadership.

This initiative is part of Lagos State’s broader strategy to prepare its youth for leadership roles, both within the state and on the global stage.

Also speaking at the event, the Executive Director of Future Perspectives, Abby Asekun, assured participants that they would gain a life-changing experience, both academically and practically.
