Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has introduced a new official uniform for its revenue officers as part of efforts to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in revenue collection across the council area.

The announcement was made by the Supervisor for Marketing and Revenue, Hon. Ajibola Elemoro, who explained that the introduction of the official uniform marks another step towards strengthening public confidence in the council’s revenue administration.
According to Hon. Elemoro, the uniform will make it easier for residents and business owners to identify genuine revenue officers while reducing the activities of impersonators and unauthorised collectors.
He noted that the initiative reflects the council’s commitment to transparency and accountability in all aspects of revenue generation.
The supervisor explained that a clear and identifiable dress code would enhance professionalism among revenue personnel and improve interactions with members of the public.

He disclosed that revenue officers assigned to their respective jurisdictions would begin the collection of approved rates and levies while operating in their new official uniforms.
