The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment through strategic partnerships that promote vocational training and entrepreneurship.
Epe Insights reports that Hon. Akinloye made the commitment during the grand opening of the Hoyeen All Season Training Centre on Lawal Street, off Adebowale Road, Odo-Mola, where he joined dignitaries, political associates, and community leaders to celebrate the milestone.
The chairman congratulated the Chief Executive Officer of Hoyeen All Season Catering Services, Mrs. Oyinloluwa Ismail, for establishing the training centre and commended her determination, resilience, and dedication to building a reputable enterprise.
He described the new centre as a significant investment in human capital development, noting that it would provide meaningful opportunities for young people to acquire practical skills for self-reliance.
According to Hon. Akinloye, vocational education remains one of the most effective ways to tackle youth unemployment and stimulate grassroots economic growth.
He stressed that equipping young people with entrepreneurial and technical skills will prepare them for productive careers while reducing dependence on white-collar jobs.
The chairman assured the management of the training centre that Eredo LCDA is ready to partner with the organisation in expanding access to vocational education and skills acquisition programmes.
He explained that his administration would continue to encourage collaborations with private institutions that share the council’s vision of empowering youths and promoting sustainable development.

Also present at the event was the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Dr. Akogun Wale Anomo, who urged young people to embrace vocational education as a pathway to financial independence and long-term success.
He encouraged youths to complement formal education with practical skills that can create employment opportunities and improve their standard of living.
Dr. Anomo also pledged his support for the training centre and expressed his willingness to collaborate on initiatives that promote youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.
