The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, said he had the honour of hosting a Ramadan Lecture Series for residents of the council area, describing the gathering as a moment of spiritual reflection and renewal during the holy month.
Epe Insights reports that Olowa noted that the lecture provided an opportunity to remind residents about the enduring values of faith, unity, and moral responsibility as Nigeria continues its journey toward progress and prosperity.
He expressed appreciation to Islamic clerics and Muslim faithful who participated in the programme, commending their commitment to strengthening spiritual values within the community.
The council chairman also called on residents to continue offering prayers for the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

According to him, prayers for the country’s leaders remain essential as they work toward the development and stability of the nation and the state.
Olowa prayed for divine wisdom, good health, and continued success for the leaders in guiding the affairs of the country.
He also assured residents that the administration remains committed to delivering transparent and people-centered governance at the grassroots level.
The chairman explained that the recent inauguration of new supervisory councillors would help accelerate development initiatives within the local government.

He added that the strengthened council team would work together to ensure improved service delivery to residents.
