The atmosphere at the Epe Club was electrifying over the weekend as new officials were inaugurated.

EpeInsights gathered that the new executive council officials, members and well wishers gathered on Saturday, April 19, 2025, as the prestigious social club rolled out the red carpet.

At the centre of the excitement was Chief Olayemi Dada, who was formally celebrated as the club’s 17th President in a ceremony rich with culture, camaraderie, and commitment to community.

Held at the club’s historic T-Junction location, the event drew an impressive crowd of dignitaries, traditional leaders, business moguls, and well-wishers from near and far—united in celebration of a fresh chapter in Epe Club’s legacy.

In his inaugural speech, Chief Dada expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and the members of the club for their trust. He reflected on the journey that brought the new executive council into office following elections in December 2024 and a formal swearing-in earlier in March.

“As your newly elected President, I fully understand the magnitude of the mandate. I promise to lead with integrity, collaboration, and purpose,” he stated.

Chief Dada outlined a progressive agenda focused on membership growth, youth empowerment, community development, cultural promotion, and the beautification and completion of the club’s facilities.

He called on members to support the vision, emphasizing that collective effort is key to meaningful transformation.

“We will stay true to the founding values of unity, progress, and service. Together, we will build a stronger Epe Club that remains a beacon for the entire division.”
