The Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has concluded the final inspection of the newly completed Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Divisional Headquarters in Odo-Ayandelu ahead of its official commissioning.
Epe Insights reports that the inspection was carried out to confirm that the facility met the required standards before its official commissioning and handover scheduled for tomorrow.
The project is part of the council administration’s commitment to strengthening security infrastructure across Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. It is expected to improve the operational capacity of the NSCDC within the council area.
The newly completed divisional headquarters has been furnished with modern office furniture to provide officers with a comfortable and efficient working environment. The offices are ready for administrative and operational duties.
The facility is also equipped with modern electrical installations designed to ensure uninterrupted office operations. These installations are expected to enhance productivity and support effective service delivery.
To guarantee reliable power supply, the council provided a power generating set for the headquarters. The backup power source will enable officers to carry out their responsibilities without disruptions.
A patrol vehicle has also been provided as part of the project. The vehicle will enhance mobility and allow NSCDC personnel to respond swiftly to emergencies and security concerns within the community.
The provision of these operational tools reflects the council’s determination to ensure that the division begins work immediately after the official handover. Officers will not need to wait for additional equipment before commencing operations.
