The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has inspected the ongoing construction of a Type-C Primary Health Centre in the council area, with the project now at its finishing stage.
Epe Insights reports that Kasali expressed satisfaction with the progress of the healthcare facility, noting that major construction works have been substantially completed while attention has shifted to the finishing details.
The council chairman said the project represents an important investment in healthcare infrastructure and is expected to bring primary healthcare services closer to residents when completed.
During the inspection, Kasali assessed the level of work on the facility and reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the project is completed to serve the healthcare needs of communities within Lekki LCDA.
He noted that his administration had remained committed to monitoring the project from its foundation to the present stage because of the importance of the facility to residents.
According to him, the ongoing construction goes beyond putting up a physical structure, as the objective is to provide healthcare infrastructure capable of improving access to quality primary healthcare.
Kasali said the completion of the Type-C Primary Health Centre would represent another step towards strengthening healthcare delivery within the council area.
He added that the finishing stage would focus on the necessary details required to prepare the facility for eventual use by residents.
The chairman’s inspection also underscored the council’s attention to projects designed to improve essential public services and respond to the needs of communities across Lekki LCDA.
With the major construction works substantially advanced, attention is now expected to remain on the completion of the finishing works and other requirements needed to make the facility ready to serve the people.
The Type-C Primary Health Centre is expected to contribute to greater access to primary healthcare services for residents once completed and brought into use.
