The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, has expressed heartfelt congratulations to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, on the second anniversary of their second term in office

In a celebratory statement titled “Celebrating Progress: Two Years of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat’s Second Term,” Hon. Animashaun praised the duo for their visionary leadership, which she described as a defining chapter in the Lagos story.
She lauded the administration’s T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda, emphasizing that it has gone beyond a framework of promises to become a living testament to transformative progress across all sectors from transportation and healthcare to education, housing, and climate resilience.
“Your ability to unite vision with execution is shaping a Lagos of the future: inclusive, intelligent, and globally competitive,” the Council boss stated.
She highlighted Governor Sanwo-Olu’s calm, focused, and action-driven leadership style as a source of renewed public confidence in governance.
Hon. Animashaun also acknowledged Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Hamzat’s intellectual depth and unwavering loyalty, noting his critical role in ensuring the administration’s policy effectiveness and continuity.
On behalf of the people of Epe, she expressed gratitude for the visible impact of the administration’s developmental strides within the local government.
