The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Local Branch, is set to host its May Management Meeting on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with a major focus on a Massive Blood Donation Drive aimed at saving lives and deepening youth impact in the community.
EpeInsights reports that the event, scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. at the Epe General Hospital Hall, will bring together youth-led organizations, platforms, and stakeholders across the Epe Division.
According to a statement signed by the Branch Coordinator, Amb. Moibi Ibrahim Olatunde, and the General Secretary, Comrade Alaka Muyideen Omotola, the meeting is designed to foster collaboration and strategic engagement—but with a crucial humanitarian twist.
At the heart of this year’s meeting is the Blood Donation Drive, organised in collaboration with healthcare professionals, which seeks to rally young people to become voluntary blood donors.
The initiative not only underscores the life-saving potential of youth action but also reflects a growing commitment to grassroots health advocacy.
“This gathering is not just about leadership or planning,” the statement emphasized.
“It is a call to service, a call to save lives. By donating blood, our young people are directly contributing to the well-being of others in their community.”
The NYCN leadership praised members and partners for their continued dedication to youth development and national service, urging them to turn out in large numbers for both the meeting and the blood donation campaign.
