Hon. Engr. Abiola Okanlawon Olowu (FNSE) has officially picked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Epe Insights reports that the APC flag bearer described the development as a significant milestone in his political journey and expressed gratitude to the party leadership and supporters for the confidence reposed in him ahead of the forthcoming general election.
In a statement issued after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. Olowu thanked the APC leadership at every level for entrusting him with the responsibility of representing the party in the race for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He noted that the opportunity to fly the party’s flag is both an honour and a responsibility. According to him, the confidence shown by party leaders and members has strengthened his resolve to serve the people of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I with commitment and integrity.
The APC candidate also appreciated the unwavering support of party faithful, loyalists and grassroots mobilisers who have remained dedicated to the growth and success of the party across the constituency.
Hon. Olowu paid special tribute to Dr. Odutola Kasali, whom he described as a mentor whose guidance, encouragement and belief in his vision have continued to inspire his political aspirations.
He also acknowledged the contributions of His Excellency, Chief Bode Oyedele, praising his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to progressive politics within Lagos State and beyond.
The APC candidate further expressed appreciation to Alh. (Hon.) Tunde Isiaq for his consistent grassroots mobilisation efforts and loyalty to the ideals and objectives of the ruling party.
Recognising the role of women in political development, Hon. Olowu commended the APC Woman Leader and women leaders across Ibeju-Lekki for their resilience, commitment and continuous support toward strengthening the party’s structure.

Hon. Olowu called on residents and eligible voters across the constituency to support the APC during the forthcoming general election. He stressed that collective participation remains essential for sustaining democratic governance and ensuring continued development.
According to him, unity among party members and the electorate will play a vital role in achieving victory at the polls and delivering quality representation to the people.
The APC standard-bearer assured constituents that, if elected into the Lagos State House of Assembly, he would prioritise responsive and effective representation that reflects the needs and aspirations of the people.
