Ansar-ud-Deen Epe Unveils Projects at Lecture

The Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (AUD), Epe Branch, held a well-attended public lecture at its mosque premises on Lagos Road, Epe. The event was marked by reflection, renewed commitment to faith and presentation of key developmental milestones.

Epe Insights reports that the gathering attracted prominent figures from Islamic, educational and traditional institutions within Epe Division. The lecture served as both a spiritual engagement and an accountability forum for members and guests.

Dignitaries present included the Yisa Toheeb Oyedele, Mogaji Ngeri of Epe Kingdom Alhaji Adio Oduola, Chairman of the occasion Alhaji Adeyemi Adebomehin, Olori Olu Epe HRH M. A. Adewale, Education Secretary Epe LGEA Otunba Aliu Shittu (Saico), National Chairperson of ADSN Alhaja Safirah Abebi Animashaun and Alhaja Abosede Shittu.

Addressing attendees, the Branch Chairman, Mayor Hafeez Shittu, presented a scorecard of achievements recorded under the current administration. He described the period as one defined by growth, accountability and collective effort.

He announced the successful renovation of the branch mosque. The upgrade has created a more conducive environment for congregational prayers and other religious activities.

The chairman expressed gratitude to members for their financial and moral support. He attributed the success of the renovation project to unity and dedication within the society.

Mayor Shittu also disclosed the procurement of a branch vehicle. He said the vehicle will strengthen outreach efforts and enhance community-based programmes.

In another notable development, he revealed that a dedicated female member donated two plots of land for burial ground purposes. The gesture was described as a significant contribution to the long-term needs of the society.
