The PBAT/KOH 2027 Campaign Organisation is set to hold an interfaith prayer session for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Epe Insights reports that the prayer session is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, bringing together members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a special gathering of faith and reflection.
The organisers said the event is designed to seek divine guidance and direction for President Tinubu, Dr. Hamzat and all APC candidates as preparations intensify for the forthcoming elections.
The interfaith gathering is expected to provide an opportunity for participants from different religious backgrounds to come together in unity and pray for the success of the country and Lagos State.
According to the organisers, prayers will focus on wisdom, strength, guidance and victory for the political leaders and candidates participating in the electoral process.
The organisation also said the session reflects its belief in the importance of faith, unity and peaceful participation as the nation prepares for another electoral season.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains a central figure in the campaign organisation’s activities, with supporters expected to use the occasion to pray for continued wisdom and strength in the discharge of his responsibilities.
The organisers are also expected to pray for Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, who is the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, as he continues his engagements with stakeholders and communities across the state.
The prayer session will also cover all APC candidates participating in the 2027 elections, with prayers for a successful electoral journey and positive outcomes for the party.
Beyond the political dimension, the event is expected to highlight the role of religious harmony in promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among residents.
The organisers have called on supporters and well-wishers to participate in the gathering and join their voices in prayer for the future of Lagos State and Nigeria.
They said the event would be centred on seeking God’s direction rather than political campaigning, with emphasis placed on faith and collective prayers.
The PBAT/KOH Campaign Organisation believes that seeking divine guidance is important as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
Participants are expected to pray for wisdom for political leaders, strength for candidates and a peaceful atmosphere throughout the electoral process.
The organisation is also expected to use the occasion to encourage members and supporters to remain committed to the values of unity, responsibility and peaceful democratic participation.
For Lagos State, the prayer session comes as political stakeholders continue to engage communities and various interest groups ahead of the next governorship election.
Dr. Hamzat has continued to feature prominently in APC engagements across Lagos State following his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate.
His candidacy has also attracted engagements with traditional institutions, political stakeholders, grassroots leaders and supporters across different parts of the state.
The interfaith prayer session is therefore expected to further reinforce the campaign organisation’s mobilisation and engagement activities ahead of the election.
The organisers said their objective is to work towards a greater Lagos State and a more prosperous Nigeria through peaceful democratic participation and collective responsibility.
They also urged participants to approach the prayer session with a spirit of unity and commitment to the progress of the state and country.

The event at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena is expected to bring together APC supporters and members of the campaign organisation for prayers focused on the leadership of the country, Lagos State and the party’s candidates.
The organisation further expressed hope that the prayers would contribute to a successful election and a peaceful democratic process in 2027.
As preparations continue, the PBAT/KOH 2027 Campaign Organisation is expected to sustain its activities aimed at mobilising support and strengthening engagement among APC members and supporters.
The interfaith prayer session is set to provide another platform for supporters to express their commitment to the Tinubu administration, the Hamzat candidacy and other APC candidates.
The organisers reaffirmed their desire to see Lagos State continue on the path of development while working towards a prosperous Nigeria.
They called on all participants to come together in faith, unity and hope as they seek divine guidance for the nation’s leaders and the forthcoming electoral process.
The session will ultimately focus on prayers for wisdom, strength, guidance, peaceful elections and success for President Tinubu, Dr. Hamzat and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
