The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Dr. Akogun Wale Anomo, has commenced the construction of an ultra-modern two-storey administrative building aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery within the council.
Epe Insights reports that Dr. Anomo performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the landmark project at the Council Secretariat, describing it as another major step in his administration’s commitment to modernising public administration and creating a more efficient working environment.
The chairman said the new administrative complex forms part of his broader vision to transform governance infrastructure and equip the council with facilities that support effective leadership and quality public service.
According to him, the project will address the shortage of office accommodation while providing modern workspaces for political office holders and senior council officials.
Dr. Anomo noted that a conducive work environment is essential to improving productivity, strengthening institutional capacity, and delivering better services to residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

According to the project manager, the building will feature a fully equipped Executive Council (Exco) Chamber to support policy discussions and executive meetings.

Other key features of the development include a gallery, a comfortable waiting lounge, and an underground car park designed to improve accessibility and convenience.
Mr. Tunji further revealed that the building will house 32 fully equipped offices for Supervisors, Special Advisers, and other senior officials of the council.
He explained that the modern office spaces will improve operational efficiency and provide staff with an environment that promotes professionalism and effective service delivery.
The project manager expressed confidence that the facility will become a significant addition to the council’s infrastructure and contribute to improved governance across the LCDA.
