The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Chapter, has officially inaugurated a new 27-member executive committee to oversee the affairs of the party within the council area.
Epe Insights reports that the swearing-in ceremony was held at the APC Secretariat located along the Free Trade Zone Expressway, Museyo, Ibeju-Lekki, bringing together party leaders, members, and stakeholders.
Leading the newly inaugurated executive is Eletu Aliasau, who was sworn in as Chairman, with Surakat Funmilayo serving as Vice Chairman.
Balogun Yakub Olajuwon assumed office as Secretary, while Raji Moriu was inaugurated as Assistant Secretary.
Other members of the executive include Kareem Ayodele as Treasurer, Olumuyiwa Logun as Assistant Treasurer, Habeeb Taleeb as Financial Secretary, and Balogun Afusat as Assistant Financial Secretary.
The party also inaugurated Sulaimon Samsideen as Organizing Secretary and Amoranbini Tunde as Assistant Organizing Secretary to coordinate mobilization and operational activities.
Shafau Saheed was sworn in as Public Relations Officer, while Balogun S. Yakuba took office as Assistant Public Relations Officer.
Legal and welfare responsibilities were assigned to Asumo Taiwo as Legal Adviser, Azeez Jimoh as Assistant Legal Adviser, Adebajo Tawaka as Welfare Officer, and Giwa Tunde as Assistant Welfare Officer.
Ishola Akeem was inaugurated as Auditor, with Kamoru Sikiru Dolapo serving as Assistant Auditor.
The youth and women’s structures of the party were also represented in the executive committee.
Adeniyi Lukmon Olalekan emerged as Youth Leader, supported by Kamoru Sikiru as Assistant Youth Leader.
Alhaja Mobi Raji was inaugurated as Woman Leader, while Ogunkoya Monsurat assumed office as Assistant Woman Leader.
Abdulrahmon Abdullahi was appointed as the representative for Persons With Disability, reflecting the party’s commitment to inclusion.
The executive also includes Bankole Segun, Rahmon Azeez, Odofin Lekan, and Hakeem Otugade as Ex-Officio members.

Speaking after the inauguration, Alhaja Mobi Raji expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for the confidence reposed in the new executive.
She thanked supporters and well-wishers who attended the ceremony and pledged to work closely with party stakeholders to strengthen grassroots engagement.
The Woman Leader emphasized the importance of mobilizing women and increasing their participation in party activities across the local government.
She also assured members that the women’s wing would support efforts aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and expanding its reach at the grassroots level.
According to party leaders, the inauguration marks the beginning of a new phase of organizational development for the APC in Ibeju-Lekki.
They expressed confidence that the newly sworn-in executives would provide effective leadership and strengthen party cohesion.
Epe Insights notes that the executive committee is expected to play a key role in grassroots mobilization, membership expansion, and political engagement across the council area.
Party stakeholders also believe the new leadership will help position the APC for stronger electoral performance in future political contests within Ibeju-Lekki.
The ceremony concluded with renewed commitment from party leaders and members to work collectively toward advancing the goals and objectives of the APC in the local government area.
