Security operations across Eredo Local Council Development Area received a major boost following the distribution of six motorcycles to frontline security agencies and community-based security groups by the administration of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.

Epe Insights reports that the motorcycles were allocated to the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Muwon Vigilante Group, Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Eredo Security Forum, and Ilara Security Joint Task Force (JTF) to strengthen security coverage across the council area.

The intervention is expected to improve mobility, enhance patrol operations, and support intelligence gathering within communities across Eredo LCDA.

As one of the fastest-growing council areas in Epe Division, Eredo continues to place priority on proactive security measures aimed at protecting residents and supporting community development.

The Nigeria Police Force and Nigerian Army, key beneficiaries of the initiative, are expected to utilize the motorcycles to improve accessibility and response efficiency in various parts of the council area.

Community-based security outfits, including the Muwon Vigilante Group, Eredo Security Forum, and Ilara Security JTF, also received support to strengthen grassroots security operations.

The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), which plays an important role in intelligence gathering and community surveillance, was among the agencies equipped through the initiative.
