The Epe Ogunmodede Club has endorsed Wale Raji for a fourth term in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general election.
Epe Insights reports that the endorsement was formally announced by the club’s president, Jafar Babatunde Sanuth, who said members reached the decision after a detailed review of Raji’s performance and grassroots impact.
The group cited his sustained development efforts across Epe Federal Constituency as the basis for its decision.
Sanuth highlighted that Raji’s interventions have cut across key sectors. These include education, healthcare delivery, road infrastructure, and local economic development initiatives within the constituency.

He added that the lawmaker has also driven programmes supporting MSMEs, alongside youth and women empowerment schemes designed to boost livelihoods and economic participation.
According to the club, agricultural development and human capacity building have also received significant attention under Raji’s representation. Social intervention programmes were noted as part of efforts to directly improve living standards.
Sanuth emphasized that these achievements are measurable and widely acknowledged across communities in Epe. He described them as “verifiable milestones” that have produced tangible benefits for residents.
The endorsement follows a recent performance ranking by Lagos Reporters, which placed Raji second among all 24 members of the House of Representatives from Lagos State.

In the assessment, Raji scored 12,450 points based on criteria such as constituency engagement, accessibility to the public, and the impact of development projects.
The ranking also considered verified feedback from constituents. This, according to observers, reflects a strong connection between the lawmaker and the people he represents.
The Ogunmodede Club believes that continuity in leadership will further benefit the constituency. It argued that a fourth term would consolidate ongoing projects and expand development gains.
The group also noted that extended legislative experience could position Raji for a principal officer role in the House. Such a position, it said, would amplify Epe’s influence at the federal level.
Members expressed confidence that greater representation in leadership would attract more federal attention and resources to the constituency.
The endorsement adds to growing political momentum ahead of the 2027 elections. It signals early support from influential local stakeholders within Epe.
Observers say endorsements like this could shape political alignments in the coming months. Community-based backing often plays a key role in grassroots mobilization.
For now, the Ogunmodede Club maintains that its decision is rooted in performance rather than politics. It insists that continuity remains the best path for sustained development in Epe Federal Constituency.
