Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has commenced free registration for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination for qualified indigenes.

Epe Insights reports that eligible candidates are required to complete the online application form before proceeding to the Education Department at the Local Government Secretariat, Igando-Oloja, for screening.

Screening is scheduled to be held from Monday, February 16, to Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and present a valid birth certificate as proof of age.

Candidates are also required to be indigenes of Ibeju-Lekki and provide a letter of identification from the Local Government.

Other mandatory documents include JAMB Profile Code, NIN slip, photocopies of academic results, recent passport photographs, and evidence of at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

The council stated that applicants must strictly meet all age, academic, and indigene requirements to qualify for the free form.

The initiative forms part of the local government’s commitment to promoting access to tertiary education and supporting academic advancement among youths in the council area.

Residents have described the programme as a timely intervention aimed at easing financial burdens on families and expanding educational opportunities within Ibeju-Lekki.
