Honourable Mustain Abiodun Tobun, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency I, has again demonstrated strong commitment to youth empowerment by sponsoring Epe youths into a Federal Government skills programme.
Epe Insights reports that the lawmaker facilitated the admission of interested youths into the Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative, aimed at promoting practical skills and technical education.
The sponsorship was achieved in partnership with the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Branch, as part of sustained efforts to equip young people with employable and industry-relevant skills.

The TVET programme offers beneficiaries free tuition, feeding, accommodation, and hands-on training across various vocational and technical fields.
The initiative is designed to make participants self-reliant, economically productive, and prepared for employment or entrepreneurship.
Speaking during an interview with Epe LAWA, Hon. Tobun described youth development as a central focus of his legislative responsibilities.
He assured that beyond the Federal Government’s provisions, he is ready to personally cover any additional costs to ensure the programme remains completely free for all Epe beneficiaries.

The lawmaker also reiterated that his long-standing free JAMB registration initiative, which has been in place for over a decade, remains active.
According to him, consistent investment in education is key to sustainable development and youth economic independence.
Hon. Tobun urged beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity, noting that technical education offers strong career and financial prospects.
He explained that graduates of the programme can proceed to higher education or secure employment in emerging industries around Epe.

The lawmaker referenced major developments such as the Dangote Refinery and other industrial projects as potential opportunities for skilled youths.
Also speaking, the NYCN Epe Branch Coordinator, Comrade Moibi Ibrahim, praised Hon. Tobun’s dedication to youth advancement.
He encouraged participants to remain disciplined and committed, urging them to represent Epe positively throughout the programme.
The initiative has been widely welcomed as another milestone in Hon. Tobun youth empowerment efforts.
