The vibrant city of Ikeja, Lagos, played host to the official unveiling of the Naija Food Festival, a celebration of Nigeria’s rich culinary and cultural heritage.
EpeInsights reports that the launch event, held recently, was a colorful affair brimming with tradition, taste, and entertainment.
In attendance was the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, alongside other prominent figures in the creative and tourism sectors.
These included the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and the Special Assistant to the President on Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Ayo Adeagbo.
Adding star power to the event were special appearances by Fuji music legend Pasuma and award-winning actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji, who both thrilled guests with their presence.
While the main Naija Food Festival is set to take place at a later date, the launch event gave attendees a flavorful preview of what’s to come.
Guests were treated to an exquisite spread of traditional Nigerian dishes, each one thoughtfully curated to celebrate the nation’s diverse culinary traditions and evoke cherished cultural memories.
