The Epe Divisional Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akanni Seriki Bamu, has assured residents that efforts are ongoing to restore electricity to the community ahead of the Eid al-Adha celebration. 

Epe Insights reports that Baba Bamu expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid celebration. He also urged residents to continue supporting the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly in his pursuit of continued leadership.

The leader, popularly known as Baba Bamu, said the move is a priority to ease the festive period for residents.

Addressing the ongoing power outage in Epe, Baba Bamu attributed the situation to acts of vandalism affecting electricity infrastructure. He noted that the disruption has impacted daily activities and businesses within the community.

He reassured residents that political office holders are actively engaging relevant stakeholders to resolve the issue. According to him, restoring electricity remains a top priority for leaders in the division.

Speaking in an interview with Epe Lawa, Baba Bamu disclosed that necessary steps have been taken to ensure the swift return of power supply. He expressed confidence that electricity will be restored before the Ileya celebration.

He emphasized that coordinated efforts are underway to address the technical challenges caused by vandalism. These efforts, he said, involve collaboration between government authorities and power sector stakeholders.

Baba Bamu also appealed to residents to remain calm and patient during the process. He encouraged community members to cooperate with authorities and safeguard public infrastructure.

The APC leader reiterated that the current administration is committed to improving the welfare of the people. He noted that resolving the electricity challenge is part of broader efforts to enhance living conditions in Epe.
