In yet another demonstration of responsive and people-centered leadership, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester, the Honourable Member representing Epe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has extended his empowerment initiative to residents of Eredo LCDA.
Under the Renewed Hope Empowerment Scheme, Hon. Ogunkelu distributed provision packs and ₦5,000 cash gifts to more than 150 beneficiaries, including market women, artisans, community youth leaders, and traditional heads (Baales).
The gesture, which comes as part of his ongoing efforts to alleviate economic challenges and promote grassroots development, was warmly received by the beneficiaries, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the lawmaker’s continuous support and compassion.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Ogunkelu reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable community empowerment, emphasizing that true leadership lies in “listening to the people and addressing their needs at the grassroots.”
The lawmaker’s consistent outreach initiatives have earned him widespread admiration across Epe Division, as he continues to champion programs that uplift small business owners, strengthen local livelihoods, and promote shared prosperity.
