The Federation of Epe Division Students’ Association (FEDSA National) has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, for his sustained investment in digital education and youth empowerment.
EpeInsights reports that the commendation follows the recent distribution of digital tablets to Senior Secondary School 3 (SS3) students in public schools across the local government.
The initiative, implemented in partnership with Pan-Atlantic University and the Mastercard Foundation, is aimed at promoting digital learning and reducing technological gaps among students.
According to FEDSA National, the programme reflects a visionary approach to education that positions students for global competitiveness in a technology-driven world.
“This initiative marks a bold stride in equipping young learners with the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital era,” the association said in a statement.
They described Hon. Olowa’s efforts as a model of leadership that prioritises innovation, education, and youth development.
FEDSA, which is the umbrella body for students from the Epe Division across secondary and tertiary institutions, further praised the collaboration with reputable partners, noting that such partnerships are critical to sustainable development in the education sector.
“We encourage other leaders within and beyond the Epe Division to emulate this noble example,” the association added.
With this digital learning initiative, Hon. Olowa’s administration continues its push to transform the educational landscape in Ibeju-Lekki by expanding access, improving learning tools, and creating opportunities for young people.
