Aare Segun Olulade has accepted his appointment as the first Patron of the E-KOH Initiative, pledging continued support for youth empowerment, grassroots mobilisation and leadership development.
Epe Insights reports that the former lawmaker received the leadership of the E-KOH Initiative during a courtesy visit led by the Director General, Comrade Liberty Badmus, the Chairman of the Initiative, Dr. Seye Olofin, and the Lagos East coordinators under the leadership of Prince Ademola Adetola.
During the visit, the delegation officially decorated Aare Olulade as the inaugural Patron of the E-KOH Initiative in recognition of his contributions to leadership development and public service.
Olulade described the honour as a call to greater service rather than a personal achievement, saying he would continue to support initiatives that promote youth inclusion and nation-building.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the organisation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to provide guidance and mentorship to help advance its objectives.
According to him, meaningful national development can only be achieved by investing in young people and creating opportunities for them to realise their full potential.
He noted that throughout his years in public service, he has remained committed to identifying, mentoring and empowering youths to become responsible leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs.
Olulade said one of the greatest rewards of leadership is witnessing young people grow into individuals who make positive contributions to society.
Reflecting on his political journey, he shared experiences that have shaped his approach to leadership and public service.
He recalled his first meeting with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 1998, describing it as a defining moment that influenced his understanding of purposeful leadership.
According to Olulade, the encounter exposed him to the values of strategic thinking, courage, loyalty and the importance of building future leaders.
He said the relationship has continued over the years because it is rooted in shared ideals, trust and a commitment to progressive governance.
Olulade added that one of the greatest lessons he learned was that lasting leadership is measured by the ability to inspire and develop others.
