Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to preventing drug abuse through stronger collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), as both institutions intensified efforts to promote a safer and healthier society.
Epe Insights reports that the Area Commander of the Narcotics Division, Ibeju-Lekki, SK Garba, led a delegation from the NDLEA on a courtesy visit to Lekki LCDA, where discussions focused on strengthening partnerships to combat substance abuse and protect young people from the dangers of illicit drugs.
The engagement centered on the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) campaign, the NDLEA’s flagship advocacy initiative aimed at raising public awareness, preventing substance abuse and mobilising communities to support the fight against illegal drug use.
