Kadri Allinson’s 70th Birthday Draws APC, Community Leaders

A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Epe Division, Alhaji Kadri Olamiji Allinson, marked his 70th birthday with a special prayer session held at Olowogbowo Ratibi Mosque, Oke Balogun, Epe.

Epe Insights reports that the event replaced a conventional celebration with an Islamic prayer gathering attended by political leaders, religious clerics, and community stakeholders in honour of the celebrant.

The occasion drew APC Apex Leader in Epe Division, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu), alongside several notable personalities from political and community circles.

Also in attendance were former Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Apesin Bola Gbabijo, and Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Epe Constituency I, Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun.

Other dignitaries included former Epe Local Government Chairman, Otunba Bode Alausa, and respected educationist Hon. Wasiu Aiyeola (Olaomopo).

Traditional and community leaders also graced the occasion, including the President of Oke Balogun Descendants Association, Alhaji Akeem Kola Seriki, and President of Alaro Giant Club of Nigeria, Otunba Oloruntoyin Lawal.

APC stalwart, Alhaji Adekunle Killa, and several other party faithfuls were also present at the prayer session.

Islamic clerics at the mosque led prayers for the celebrant, seeking continued good health, longevity, and prosperity for him and his family.

Prayers were also offered for the well-being of his children, grandchildren, and the wider community, as well as for all dignitaries present.

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Allinson expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for reaching the milestone age of 70.

He noted that his life has been sustained purely by divine mercy and grace, adding that he remains thankful for the support system around him.

The celebrant, who serves as Baba Adinni of the mosque and Arewa Adinni of the First Epe Central Mosque, described his life journey as one guided by faith and service.

He stated that despite his involvement in politics, he has remained committed to moral values and religious principles.

Alhaji Allinson further noted that he is often referred to as “Eeyan Olorun” (Man of God), a title he cherishes deeply.

He emphasized his role in offering counsel and spiritual guidance during political discussions and community decision-making processes.

The event was marked by prayers, goodwill messages, and moments of reflection on the celebrant’s contributions to politics, religion, and community development in Epe.

Guests described him as a unifying figure whose influence spans both political and religious spheres within the division.
