The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Olayemi Surah Animashaun, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in celebration of Eid Mubarak. She described the season as a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence across Epe and beyond.
Epe Insights reports that the council boss congratulated Muslims in Epe and across Nigeria on the successful completion of the holy period. She noted that Eid represents sacrifice, love, and obedience, calling on residents to embrace these values for community development and harmony.
She emphasized the importance of continued prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Epe. According to her, a united community remains essential for sustainable growth and improved welfare for all residents.
The Chairman reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to strengthening social cohesion and promoting initiatives that support youth development, education, and local empowerment. She added that peace remains the foundation of every meaningful progress.
Hon. Animashaun encouraged residents to use the festive period to strengthen bonds with family, friends, and neighbours. She stressed that unity at the grassroots level contributes significantly to stability and development within the local government.
She also called on religious leaders and community stakeholders to continue promoting messages of tolerance, understanding, and peaceful coexistence. She noted that diversity should be seen as a strength rather than a source of division.
