Residents of Sabo Oke Poka in Eredo LCDA are set to benefit from improved access to clean water as the ongoing Solar Powered Borehole Project in the community approaches completion.
Epe Insights reports that the project, initiated under the leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has reached about 90 percent completion, marking another milestone in the council’s drive toward grassroots development and improved public welfare.
The solar-powered borehole is expected to provide residents with a reliable and sustainable water supply, reducing challenges associated with access to clean water in the area. Community members have expressed optimism that the project will ease daily water needs and improve living conditions.
As part of efforts to ensure quality delivery, the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Opetuga Bayo, recently inspected the project site to assess the level of progress and the standard of work carried out by the contractor.
During the inspection, Mr. Opetuga commended the quality and pace of work achieved so far. He also urged the contractor to maintain the standard and ensure the project is completed and delivered within the next few days.
