Officials of the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), in partnership with CGCC, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.
Epe Insights reports that the Chairman was represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo. The visit focused on strengthening collaboration and advancing power infrastructure in the area.
The delegation engaged in discussions aimed at improving electricity supply. The meeting highlighted the importance of partnerships in addressing energy challenges.

Following the visit, the team proceeded to Ibeju-Agbe community. They conducted an inspection of the proposed site for a new embedded power station.
The planned facility is expected to improve electricity distribution. It will be connected to the Elemoro Substation to enhance supply capacity.
Once completed, the project will boost power reliability across Ibeju-Lekki. It is also expected to support businesses and residential growth.
