Dr Kasali FC, champions of the 7th edition of the Onilekki Annual Ramadan Cup, paid a courtesy visit to Rasaki Bamidele Kasali at the council office to present their trophy and celebrate their achievement.

The team has reclaimed the title in 2026 after a consistent record in previous tournaments.

He encouraged players to sustain their momentum and highlighted plans to introduce structured talent hunts and scouting initiatives within Lekki LCDA to support emerging football talents.

The chairman also presented the team with a cash gift in recognition of their achievement, underscoring the administration’s commitment to youth development through sports.

The team, sponsored by Prince Bayo Ogidan, was led by Captain Ogunbekun Oyinkansola, Head Coach Ogunbekun Tanwa, and Team Manager Ogunbekun Sharafa, former Sports Director of Lekki LCDA. They were accompanied by the Supervisor for Sports, Hon. Shonaike Olatokunbo, and the Supervisor for Youth Empowerment, Hon. Balogun Isiaka.

Speaking on behalf of the team, the Manager expressed gratitude for the chairman’s support, noting that his encouragement continues to inspire the team’s achievements.
