The Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), Dr Aminu Yusuf, has paid an official working visit to the Lagos State Office of the Commission in Surulere, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to staff welfare and institutional development.

Epe Insights reports that the visit, hosted by the Federal Commissioner representing Lagos State, Barr. Mrs Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye, as part of the Chairman’s nationwide engagements with state offices of the Commission.

During the visit, Dr Yusuf reiterated his commitment to staff welfare under his 7-Point Agenda, disclosing that the Commission is engaging relevant federal agencies to improve staff remuneration and facilitate access to affordable housing for NPC personnel nationwide.

He commended Barr. Mrs Oladunjoye for the warm reception and described her as one of the Commission’s most outstanding Federal Commissioners, praising her intellectual contributions, dedication and effective representation of Lagos State.

Dr Yusuf noted that her leadership has continued to positively impact the Commission’s operations and overall progress in the state.

In her response, Barr. Mrs Oladunjoye expressed appreciation to the NPC Chairman and his delegation, describing Dr Yusuf as a visionary, focused and humble leader committed to institutional growth.

She assured him of the Lagos State Office’s full cooperation and support toward the successful implementation of his reform agenda and staff-focused initiatives.

The official assignment also featured an inspection of the Commission’s permanent Lagos State Office, which is currently undergoing remodelling to improve functionality and work conditions.

The visit concluded with the presentation of gifts to the NPC Chairman and members of his entourage, marking a cordial and productive engagement aimed at strengthening the Commission’s service delivery in Lagos State.
