Honourable Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, has been appointed as a Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
Epe Insights reports that the appointment was approved by Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, in recognition of Olowa’s leadership qualities, public service record, and contributions to grassroots security and community development.
Hon. Olowa also serves as Chairman of Conference 57, the umbrella body representing all Local Government and Local Council Development Area chairmen in Lagos State, a role that positions him as a key stakeholder in local governance and security coordination.
The Lagos State Security Trust Fund is a public-private partnership established to strengthen the state’s security architecture, support security agencies, and enhance safety across communities.
Stakeholders have expressed confidence that Olowa’s experience in governance and security advocacy will add value to the board and support ongoing security initiatives in the state.
The appointment takes immediate effect, with Hon. Olowa expected to contribute to current LSSTF programmes aimed at promoting a safer Lagos.
