The Federation of Epe Division Students Association (FEDSA), LASUSTECH Chapter, is set to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Epe Division as preparations intensify for Epe L’Eja Wa 2025, one of the institution’s flagship cultural events.

Epe Insights reports that the event will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the 500-Seater Agricultural Auditorium, LASUSTECH, beginning at 11:00 AM.

This year’s edition is dedicated to promoting the traditions, values, and identity of the Epe people, offering a platform for students and guests to explore the depth of Epe’s cultural history and shared heritage.

A FEDSA executive, Comrade Ibrahim, emphasised the importance of the celebration, noting that the programme helps strengthen students’ connection to their roots. He stated that culture remains the foundation holding communities together.

Another organiser explained that the event serves as both entertainment and cultural education, stressing that it creates space for Epe youths to express pride in their identity and origins.

The 2025 celebration will feature traditional music, dance, exhibitions, storytelling sessions, and keynote speeches by notable cultural and community leaders from Epe Division.

Students are encouraged to attend in traditional attire to reflect unity and cultural pride. Organisers said the dress culture reinforces the essence of Epe L’Eja Wa as a celebration of shared identity.

The programme will also include refreshments and interactive cultural sessions designed to strengthen bonding among students from various departments and faculties.

A large turnout is expected from the LASUSTECH community, traditional stakeholders, and cultural enthusiasts, marking another milestone in FEDSA’s mission to promote cultural awareness among young people.
