The Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has completed the full reconstruction of the Ajebo Culvert, an important link between the Ajebo community and Orugbo-Iddo in Agbowa, Lagos. Led by the Executive Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the project addresses long-standing structural failures that have endangered road users and disrupted everyday movement.
Epe Insights reports that the former culvert had deteriorated to a point where a complete rebuild was the only viable solution. With the chairman’s approval, the damaged structure was demolished and replaced with a newly engineered culvert built for greater durability, improved drainage flow, and enhanced accessibility. The upgraded structure is expected to ease movement for commuters, traders, transport operators, and residents who depend on the route for daily activities.

Community members from Ajebo and Orugbo-Iddo have expressed appreciation, calling the reconstruction a timely and impactful intervention that strengthens connectivity and boosts local economic engagement. The project is one of several infrastructure upgrades initiated under the LCDA’s ongoing efforts to improve living conditions and expand development across Ikosi-Ejinrin.

According to the council chairman, the administration remains committed to consolidating gains and expanding possibilities through continuous infrastructure renewal and community-focused development.
