The engagement brought together government officials, community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders to discuss the scope, benefits, and successful execution of the project.

Hon. Tobun described the road improvement initiative as another important milestone in the drive to strengthen infrastructure across Epe Constituency I.

He said improved road networks remain essential for enhancing transportation, promoting economic activities, and improving the quality of life of residents.

The lawmaker reaffirmed his determination to continue attracting impactful development projects that will address the infrastructure needs of communities across the constituency.

According to him, the Tiye-ILege Road Improvement Project will significantly improve connectivity between communities while creating a more efficient transportation network.

He noted that better roads would ease the movement of people, agricultural produce, and commercial goods, thereby supporting local businesses and economic growth.

Hon. Tobun also emphasised that quality infrastructure plays a critical role in attracting investment and encouraging sustainable development.

Officials of the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency explained the objectives of the project and highlighted its expected impact on residents and road users.

They assured stakeholders that the project would be implemented in line with approved engineering standards to ensure durability and long-term value.

Participants at the engagement welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that would address long-standing transportation challenges within the affected communities.

Community leaders commended the Lagos State Government and Hon. Tobun for prioritising infrastructure projects capable of transforming the area.

Residents expressed optimism that the improved road would reduce travel time, improve safety, and increase access to schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial centres.

Many also observed that the project would create new opportunities for businesses by improving the movement of goods and services.

Stakeholders pledged their full cooperation and support to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the road improvement project.

They encouraged residents to work closely with contractors and government agencies throughout the construction period to achieve the desired outcome.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for community members to share observations and offer suggestions that would support the successful delivery of the project.

LASURA reaffirmed its commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure the road project is completed according to specification and within the approved timeline.

The Tiye-ILege Road Improvement Project is expected to strengthen connectivity, support economic development, and improve mobility across Epe Local Government.
