Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy have celebrated their graduating Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) students with a glamorous Prom Night as part of activities marking the 2026 end-of-session and valedictory celebrations.
Epe Insights reports that the colourful event, which commenced at about 5:00 p.m., brought together graduating students, teachers, school administrators, parents and invited guests to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026 after months of academic work and final examinations.
The prom was organised to reward the graduating students for their commitment and resilience throughout the academic session while giving them an opportunity to relax, interact and celebrate a significant milestone before proceeding to higher institutions.
The evening featured a series of entertaining activities, including music, dancing and social engagements, with the crowning of the Prom King and Prom Queen emerging as one of the major highlights of the celebration.
Delivering his welcome address, the Principal, Mr. Oluwole, congratulated the graduating students on successfully completing an important stage of their educational journey. He urged them to remain focused, disciplined and committed to excellence as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic pursuits.
Members of the teaching staff also addressed the students, offering words of encouragement and reminding them that graduation from secondary school marks the beginning of greater opportunities and responsibilities.
The event was moderated by the Head Teacher of Springfield Private School, Mr. Ayeni, who ensured the programme progressed seamlessly from beginning to the end.
Speaking with journalists after the event, the Proprietress and Director of Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy, Mrs. Maureen Idehen Ovabor, said the graduating students deserved to be celebrated after dedicating the academic term to preparing for their final examinations.
She expressed confidence that the students would excel in their examinations, noting that they had worked diligently and demonstrated unwavering commitment throughout the session.
“The students have paid their dues through hard work and dedication. I am optimistic that they will come out in flying colours. They deserve to celebrate this milestone because it reflects their efforts, and I believe this is only the beginning of greater achievements in their lives,” she said.
