Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) from Lagos State Police Command II have arrested a 20-year-old man, Safiyanu Abubakar, for allegedly stealing windows and electrical cables from residential properties in Lagos.
EpeInsights reports that a statement posted on the command’s official X account on Tuesday, explained that the arrest took place on Monday, June 2, 2025.
Police reported that Abubakar was apprehended while moving between houses in Eyita Estate, Itamaga, in the Ikorodu area of the state, where he was found removing aluminum windows and electricity cables.
He was immediately taken into custody at the scene and has since been charged in court for the alleged offenses.
