RBK Inspects New Legislative Building

The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has inspected the ongoing construction of the new Legislative Building and Council Hall as part of efforts to ensure quality project delivery across the council.

Epe Insights reports that the inspection was part of the chairman’s routine monitoring exercise aimed at ensuring that all capital projects are executed according to approved specifications, quality standards and completion timelines.

During the visit, Engr. Kasali toured the construction site to assess the pace of work and evaluate the progress made since the commencement of the project.

The chairman also received technical briefings from project supervisors and contractors overseeing the construction, with updates provided on the current stage of development and the next phases of the project.

Engr. Kasali reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering durable infrastructure that will enhance governance and improve service delivery within Lekki LCDA.

He stressed that regular supervision remains essential to maintaining quality standards and ensuring that public projects are completed on schedule.

The new Legislative Building and Council Hall is designed to provide a modern and functional environment for legislative sittings, official meetings and other council activities.

Upon completion, the facility is expected to strengthen the operations of the legislative arm of the council while creating a more conducive space for policy discussions and administrative engagements.
