PBAT Movement Sets October 13 for Lagos Grassroots Mobilisation

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is set to hold a grassroots mobilisation event in Lagos as the organisation continues its activities ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

Epe Insights reports that the event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Marina, Lagos, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

According to the organisers, the Lagos gathering is part of the movement’s ongoing door-to-door mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 elections.

The movement has been established as a grassroots platform focused on direct engagement with communities and households as part of its political mobilisation activities.

The organisers said the Lagos event would bring together supporters, political stakeholders and other participants from across the state.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima are listed among the dignitaries expected at the event.

High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, is also listed among the expected dignitaries.

The movement has previously organised grassroots activities in Lagos as part of its preparations for the 2027 electoral cycle.

In August, its South-West chapter held a 3,000-man Posterity Walk in Ikeja to commence its campaign activities in the region.

The movement said its grassroots activities are designed to take its engagement directly to communities and households.

Its national activities have also focused on building structures at local government, ward and polling-unit levels.

The organisers have described door-to-door engagement as a way of connecting with residents at the community level.

The approach involves direct interaction with members of communities rather than relying solely on conventional political rallies.

The Lagos event is therefore expected to provide another platform for the movement to interact with its supporters and strengthen its grassroots network.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has publicly stated that it is campaigning for the re-election of President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Its activities have included meetings with state, local government, ward and polling-unit representatives across different parts of the country.

Recent engagements in the South-East, for instance, focused on strengthening the movement’s grassroots structures and improving coordination among its various levels.

The organisation has also emphasised community engagement, voter education and direct communication with residents as part of its mobilisation strategy.

For Lagos, the upcoming event represents another phase of the movement’s grassroots activities ahead of the 2027 elections.

Participants are expected to converge at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena for the scheduled programme.

The choice of Lagos as the venue reflects the movement’s continued grassroots activities in the South-West.

The state has already hosted earlier mobilisation activities by the organisation, including the August Posterity Walk in Ikeja.

The movement is expected to use the October gathering to further engage its supporters and stakeholders.

The event also comes amid increasing political activities by parties, support groups and other political organisations ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.

The organisers have continued to present the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a platform for direct community engagement and mobilisation.

As preparations for the 2027 elections continue, the Lagos programme is expected to attract participants from different parts of the state.

The event is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Marina, Lagos.
