The preliminary stage of the Lekki Beach Kids Cup 2026 has ended with eight schools securing qualification for the quarter-finals after a day of exciting grassroots football at Awolowo Museum Beach, Lekki Town.

At the end of the preliminary fixtures, seven schools secured qualification for the quarter-finals through impressive performances.
The successful teams are RCM Olomowewe, Anglican Osoroko, RCM Idata, RCM Idotun, RCM Okunraye, UPE Siriwon and Akodo-Ise.

The seven schools joined Community Primary School (CPS) Folu, which had earlier booked its quarter-final place with a dominant 5-0 victory during the tournament’s opening match.
Their qualification completed the lineup for the last eight teams that will continue the race for the prestigious Lekki Beach Kids Cup 2026 title.
The tournament has received strong support from the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), whose administration continues to invest in youth development through sports.
