Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Legend Widows Group has endorsed Engr. Abiola Olowu, OKL, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I.
Epe Insights reports that the group based its endorsement on what it described as Olowu’s track record, describing his candidacy as a representation of the aspirations of indigenous people seeking effective and equitable representation.
The group said Olowu’s candidacy has continued to attract support among grassroots stakeholders, particularly those interested in stronger representation and development within their ancestral communities.
According to the group, its decision reflects confidence in Olowu’s capacity to represent the interests of the people of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
